- Thanks to everyone who joined us for our webinars these last two weeks! If you were not able to join due to technical difficulties, please let us know so that we can get you up to speed, especially since we'll be having plenty more opportunities to join the meetings in the future. Our advice to you is to download the app "WebEx" just for the meeting and delete it afterwards. Remember: all webinars count for 2 membership points.
- Speaking of which, membership points are now posted under the Join tab of our website, upon request of members hoping to keep track of their points. Please refer to the spreadsheet often and have a plan ready to get back on track if you have less than 5 points right now.
- We're very pleased to announce that UNICEF is planning a Raffle Basket Fundraiser to support the Tap Project Campaign. Although we are still completing paperwork, the fundraiser is planned to take place between March 14 and 17, the week before break. We'll be selling tickets during all lunch periods for 15 different themed raffle baskets, and we'll be drawing winners at the end of the week.
- UNICEF members will have the opportunity to earn up to 3 membership points for donating a themed basket, which may be turned in with a partner, as well. 1 point can be earned for each full period you help us run the raffle table during lunch since we'll need at least 5 people there every period. Points can also be earned for assistance in publicizing, be it posters, videos, a clever name for the fundraiser- the possibilities are endless.

- IMPORTANT NOTE: Because the National Honor Society is sponsoring us for this fundraiser, running tables during lunch periods can also earn you service hour credits for NHS.
- Finally, the crux of this meeting was the LEAP Project, which stands for Leading Effective Awareness through Photography. Tying into all that we've discussed with advocacy and child trafficking and gender inequality the last few weeks, we culminated the topic by raising awareness about these problems by highlighting the rights of children. Check out our amazing members taking a stand below! Two points were earned for attendance at this meeting!
