- We hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break! Today's meeting serves as a refresher into our current projects and a look into what's left this year.
- Thanks to all who attended the Tap Project Webinar, we hope you found it meaningful and informative. Please send your notes to us so we can give you the 2 points credit.
- Time is winding down and we only have 2 more meetings left in our UNICEF year: April 5 and April 28. Please note the latter takes place on a Thursday. In the upcoming Tuesday meeting, we will be crowning our 3 Tap winners for this year and planning for our upcoming fundraiser. This entails making posters to publicize it around the school; for this reason, this meeting will count for 2 membership points.
- Speaking of the Tap Project, you only have until Friday, April 1 to take your screenshots now. Remember, as little as 5 minutes is enough to get you 1 membership point and provide 1 day of clean water for a child in need. Take advantage of the little time left. Tick tock! For a picture of the screenshot we would like to see, please see the previous blog post.
- Now is also the time to jump back on the bandwagon if you've fallen off with membership points. You are required to have 15 points logged before our last meeting in order to earn a certificate. If you're in the red zone (below 10 points), keep up your attendance and consider recruitment. That alone can earn you another 3 points. Participate in the Tap Project and there's another 1 point. We are also seeking more volunteers for our fundraiser, both volunteering and basket making. See below for details on each of those.
- We have moved the date of the fundraiser to Monday, April 18 - Friday, April 22. We needed a little more time to get our logistics approved but now everything is good to go! All the same ideas still apply: we will be selling tickets for $.50 each to be put towards 15 themed baskets. Winners will be drawn at the end of the week. The documents for basket making have already been shared with you, so please fill in what components you will have in your basket, and we'll indicate if it's approved. Absolute deadline for baskets is Tuesday, April 12.
- With the end of another month, we wrapped up our discussion on the water crisis with a little friendly competition. We had two teams take part in a Jeopardy Review Game, WASH style, with the winning team earning 3 points for the meeting rather than the standard 2.
- Take the game again at the following link: WASH Jeopardy!
- Next meeting will be Tuesday, April 5 and attendance is mandatory. Plan to be there!
