- Well congratulations everyone- you made it! We've come to the end of second UNICEF year; see the posts below to review all that you've accomplished with us. And it truly is amazing that with just less than 10 meetings we could have contributed to the Healing Classroom's Challenge, learned about our slavery footprint, signed our name to petitions to support UNICEF's agenda in Congress, interacted with the greater UNICEF community through virtual Webinars online, participated in the LEAP Project and Tap Project, with more than a 1000 hours going to the latter, and raised $208 with our Raffle Basket Fundraiser. And that's not even to mention the vital topics we've covered with out monthly featured topics and review activities. To sum it up: just wow.
- As I mentioned briefly, we did wrap up our Raffle Basket Fundraiser briefly before our final meeting. Here's some statistics to show you what a resounding success the project was:
- We sold approximately 636 tickets.
- 147 of the total tickets told were put in the Lazy Day basket from our very own UNICEF member, Carly Vintila! Cupcake, Golf, and Procrastination each had about 60 tickets each, which were our next highest.
- We had a total of 12 baskets on the following themes: Candy, Golf, Summer, Breakfast, AP Survival, Procrastination, College, Lazy Day, Movies, Coffee, Cupcake, and Ice Cream.
- We raised $208.96 for the UNICEF General Fund.
- Thank you all for another great year, it's inspiring to see so many people passionate in a cause bigger than themselves. Another hearty congratulations to those members who made the points cut off (see the Membership Roster) and please pick up your certificate from Rubab at some point if you haven't already. Stay in touch over the summer by joining our Remind.
- Have a great summer!
